"I feel sorry for people who don't drink. They wake up in the morning and that's the best they're going to feel all day."  ~Dean Martin.

The History of Steinhaus

Steinhaus originally opened in 1933.   Since then, it has had many names, but always had the same great, neighborhood feel.  It started with the name of Lawrence Kegley Restaurant in 1933.  In 1935, it became known as the Parrot Inn.  At one point, it was also called the Golden Garter, but we don’t know exactly when that time was.
